Here i have experimented with my dolls head with the Elizabethan curls. Curly hair was one of the most popular hairstyles for the upper class women and is a symbol for fashionable wealth. The curls were tight, small, tidy and perfectly done. From my research i have found out that the more curly the women's hair and the larger it gets the higher status the women is,

Crimping -
Here are a few examples of crimping i have done. I found this technique very simple and strait forward although a very useful skill to have when creating designs for Elizabethan hair.
