Here you can see that in each of these images the front of the hair is divided into two sections at the front. Hair pieces and accessories have also been added such as pearls. Within temporary images you would most commonly find the hair has been curled or crimped. The hair would also be fair and light colored.




Examples of Modern hairstyles -

Here are a mixture of contemporary Elizabethan hairstyles. Within these images i have found that the front of the hair has also been pushed back just like the traditional to still receive the same high headline look. Instead of crimps and curls they have been replaced with french plaits and fishtail braids. I feel these images still link to the Elizabethan theme as instead of including a hair piece or accessory they have included a braid to be the main focus of the hair.
